This cocktail recipe is courtesy of my long time friend and colleague Randy O’Reilly and his brother-in-law Dave Marr. It’s really flavorful and brings out the Chartreuse without being dominated by it. Also, a lot of cocktails with orange juice just taste like OJ + booze, but here it actually blends. I invented the name, in honor of both Randy and Dave being leading cognitive scientists. By the way, I just bought the Chartreuse and it’s pretty expensive, but I was able to get this half-bottle.
- 2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 3/4 oz Lillet blanc
- Juice of 1/2 orange or one whole Clementine
Shake well!
